Sokn Camping is located on Sokn island in Ryfylke, just a 15-minute drive from Stavanger

Here, you'll find great spots whether you arrive by motorhome, caravan, tent, or boat. We are proud to be a family-friendly campsite where both adults and children can enjoy themselves. Kids can play on the sandy beach, slide down the waterslide, or jump on the large bouncy pillow.

In 2025, we opened a brand new and modern sanitary facility. When hunger strikes, you can enjoy a delicious meal in our restaurant (fully licensed) or grab a treat from the ice cream kiosk.

Booking

Sanitary Facilities

In 2025, we opened our brand new sanitary facility. It offers a high standard and includes a wide range of toilets, showers, accessible toilets, and larger family rooms with changing tables.

Shelter

If the weather isn't perfect, we have a large shelter with plenty of seating and tables. Here you can enjoy breakfast under cover or gather in the evening. Dishwashing facilities are also available.

Short-term Camping

We have a total of 59 pitches. 44 are on asphalt and 13 are on grass. Most pitches offer electricity. Please note any size restrictions and possibilities for awnings when booking your pitch.

Tents

We have a large area for tents, with the option for electricity. You can book a tent pitch in the same way you would for a motorhome or caravan, and suitable pitches for tents will be indicated during the booking process.

Seasonal Pitch

We have around 160 caravans on permanent pitches year-round. Vacancies are very rare here, and the only way to get a pitch is to purchase a caravan that is being sold on-site. Most caravans for sale are advertised on finn.no.

Boats

We have a limited number of guest berths for boat visitors, and these are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact us to check availability.

Zone A
Spacious and excellent pitches along the harbor and right by the beach. Suitable for large motorhomes and caravans. Paved with 10A electricity.

Zone B
Pitches located at the very end of the harbor with sea views. Suitable for large motorhomes but not ideal for awnings/canopies. Paved with 10A electricity.

Zone C
Excellent pitches, slightly more secluded, with nice fjord views. Suitable for both motorhomes and caravans, but not all pitches are suitable for awnings/canopies. Paved with grass between each pitch. 16A electricity.

Zone D
Large grassy pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Grass and 16A electricity.
